Lenovo 15" Laptop with 165Hz OLED and Intel Wildcat Lake

Lenovo has commenced the international rollout of its IdeaPad Slim 5 15IWC11, positioning the 15-inch laptop as a step-up successor to prior models powered by Intel’s Raptor Lake architecture. The device first surfaced on Lenovo’s PSREF database several months ago and is now available across Australia and multiple markets in East and Southeast Asia. Listings on the company’s regional websites indicate that a broader European launch is imminent, though the model appears absent from North American storefronts for the time being.

Processor, Memory, and Storage Configuration

Two Intel processor options are offered for the system. Buyers can select the Core 5 320 or the Core 7 350. Lenovo has paired the Core 5 320 exclusively with 16 GB of soldered LPDDR5X-7467 RAM, while configurations built around the Core 7 350 ship with 32 GB of the same memory type. The RAM is not upgradeable after purchase, a departure from the design found in the more affordable IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11. Storage configurations top out at a 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD from the factory, but the mainboard is equipped with a larger M.2 2280 slot, enabling users to install higher-capacity drives beyond 1 TB.

Display and Battery Options

Lenovo provides a choice between two 15.3-inch panels. The standard IPS display runs at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, delivers 400 nits of peak brightness, covers 100 percent of the sRGB color space, and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. An alternative OLED panel upgrades the visual experience with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution, 1,000 nits of peak brightness in HDR mode, full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 165 Hz refresh rate.

Power is supplied by either a 54.7 Wh or a 70 Wh battery. Lenovo’s stated endurance figures reach 16.4 hours and 22.8 hours, respectively, based on continuous playback of 1080p local video at a screen brightness of 150 nits.

Regional Pricing and Availability

Base pricing varies across the initial launch territories. In Australia, the IdeaPad Slim 5 15IWC11 starts at AUD 2,199 when configured with the Core 5 320, 16 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and the 1200p IPS display. Equivalent entry-level units are listed at HKD 9,840 in Hong Kong, MYR 5,371 in Malaysia, and SGD 1,671 in Singapore, the latter converting to approximately $1,294.
