Nubia to Unveil Next Generation Red Magic Gaming Smartphones on November 23
Nubia is gearing up to launch the latest iteration of its Red Magic gaming smartphones on November 23. In anticipation of the official release, a recent AnTuTu benchmark listing has provided insight into the key specifications of the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro.
Red Magic 9 Pro AnTuTu Listing
According to the AnTuTu benchmark listing, the Red Magic 9 Pro will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is built on TSMC's 4nm process. This powerful chipset ensures high-performance capabilities for the device.
The benchmark results from AnTuTu showcase the impressive performance of the Red Magic 9 Pro. It achieved an outstanding total score of 2,290,773 points, with 516,397 points for the CPU, 904,492 points for the GPU, 457,734 points for memory, and 412,150 points for UX.
Furthermore, the benchmark listing reveals that the Red Magic 9 Pro will offer up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will also run on the latest Android operating system, Android 14.
Red Magic 9 Pro Series Gaming
To highlight the gaming capabilities of the Red Magic 9 Pro, Nubia has shared performance details for two popular games: Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact: Star Rail.
In Genshin Impact's Xumi City map, the Red Magic 9 Pro maintained an average frame rate of 60.16fps, with an average power consumption of 4831.19mW over 30 minutes of gameplay.
Similarly, in Honkai Impact: Star Rail, the device achieved an average frame rate of 59.29fps, with an average power consumption of 5599.63mW over 30 minutes of gameplay.
Nubia has compared the performance of the Red Magic 9 Pro to other devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, namely the Xiaomi 14 Pro and iQOO 12 Pro. The Red Magic 9 Pro outperformed both devices in terms of frame rate and power consumption.
