DJI Flip Drone: Price, Features, and Release Date Revealed

The DJI Flip is a new drone that many people are excited about, coming from the well-known Chinese brand. After some promo pictures and specifications were revealed earlier, more leaks have now come out, sharing details about its features, specs, and importantly, pricing and when it will be officially announced. According to the famous leaker @JasperEllens on X/Twitter, a retailer in Croatia has put the drone up for sale in three different bundles, with prices of €449 (~$460), €659 (~$676), and €809 (~$830).

    Compact Design

Weighing less than 300 grams (about 249g when using the standard battery and microSD), the DJI Flip is designed to be portable while still offering advanced capabilities. Its foldable structure makes it very compact, measuring just 136×62×165mm when folded and expanding to 233×280×79mm in use. This light weight makes the Flip a great choice for travelers, appealing to both novice and expert users alike.

    Impressive Performance

The Flip runs on a 3110mAh battery, allowing for up to 31 minutes of flying at steady speeds or 28 minutes while hovering. It’s said to manage tough conditions, with wind resistance up to 10.7m/s and a horizontal speed of 12m/s in Normal and Sport modes, reaching as fast as 16m/s with good tailwinds. The drone also comes with a 3-axis mechanical gimbal for stabilization and an advanced sensor setup, featuring front-facing 3D ToF sensors.

If the leaks are correct, this drone will include a built-in 48MP camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, as mentioned in earlier leaks. With a 24mm lens (f/1.7 aperture), 4K video recording at 60fps, and special vertical shooting modes made for social media, the Flip seems to connect professional and hobbyist drone users. Also, DJI has focused on a good user experience with an O4 video transmission system, offering a range of up to 13km in ideal settings and fast charging options at 65W using an optional charging hub.

    Tailored Features

The Flip appears to be equipped with specific modes for aerial photography, creative social media content, and sports or adventure activities. These features, alongside durable materials and GPS support (GPS + Galileo + BeiDou), are likely to make it stand out in the compact drone market.

In a recent tweet from another reliable source, @Quadro_News on X/Twitter, the official launch date was mentioned as January 14, just 3 days away from now. The leaker also shared some real-time images of the DJI Flip shortly before this announcement—check them out in the tweets below (see below).

  • Galaxy S24 FE Price Leak: Confirmed Cost Higher Than Predecessor

Galaxy S24 FE Price Leak: Confirmed Cost Higher Than Predecessor

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE is expected to carry a higher price tag than last year’s Galaxy S23 FE, according to a recent report. Noted leaker Arsene Lupin has shared what might be the official pricing details for the new device.

Lupin revealed on X (previously known as Twitter) that the Galaxy S24 FE will be priced at €749 for the 128GB model and €809 for the 256GB model in Europe. These figures support earlier speculations about the S24 FE being more costly than its predecessor.

    Color Options and Visuals

The tipster also highlighted that the phone will be available in Graphite, Mint, Yellow, and Blue. Renders of these color options have been shared, which are included below:

Galaxy S24 FE Price Leak: Confirmed Cost Higher Than Predecessor

    Galaxy S24 FE Features

The S24 FE is rumored to feature a larger 6.7-inch display, surpassing the S23 FE’s 6.4-inch screen. This would make it the largest display on a Galaxy Fan Edition phone, closely approaching the size of the flagship S24 Ultra.

Internally, the S24 FE is likely to be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the Exynos 2400—chips also used in the flagship S24 series.

However, there’s a small caveat. The Exynos chip in the Galaxy S24 FE is anticipated to have a slightly reduced clock speed compared to the standard S24 series, by about 100MHz. This version is expected to be available in Europe and Asia.

Similarly, the Snapdragon variant in the US might also see a slight downgrade from the flagship chip.

    Camera Setup

In terms of cameras, leaks indicate that the S24 FE will maintain the same setup as the S23 FE. This includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP telephoto, a 12MP ultrawide lens on the rear, and a 10MP front-facing camera. Those expecting significant camera improvements to justify the price increase might find themselves disappointed.

  • Xiaomi 14T Pro Render Reveals New Leica-Branded Camera Design

Xiaomi 14T Pro Render Reveals New Leica-Branded Camera Design

The launch of the Xiaomi 14T Pro is anticipated to occur sometime in September, mirroring the release schedule of last year’s Xiaomi 13T Pro. Recently, PassionateGeekz unveiled a rendering of the device, highlighting an updated design for the camera island.

    Camera Design and Features

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to feature a total of three rear cameras, similar to its predecessor. However, the arrangement of the cameras and flash module has shifted to a square layout, diverging from the triangular design of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. Additionally, the Leica branding has been repositioned to the center of the camera island, moving from its previous lower-left corner. The rendering suggests a more streamlined camera island design compared to the older model, particularly noticeable at the edges.

    Front Design and Specifications

Looking at the front of the device, the render indicates a design that closely resembles the previous model, but with marginally thinner bezels. The location of the Xiaomi branding on the back and the side buttons appears unchanged from the prior version.

    Technical Details and Pricing

As per an earlier leak, the camera system includes LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/15-60 ASPH lenses, with the primary camera reportedly utilizing the 1.1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor.

Pricing for the 14T Pro is estimated at €899 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, while the standard 12GB + 256GB Xiaomi 14T is expected to be priced at around €649. Although specific storage and memory configurations remain uncertain, it is known that the standard and Pro models will be powered by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra and Dimensity 9300+ chips, respectively.

    Additional Features

The Xiaomi 14T Pro has already secured NBTC certification and has been spotted on Geekbench. The device will boast a 6.67″ 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, consistent with its predecessor, yet it will offer a higher peak brightness (4000 nits compared to 2600 nits). Internally, it houses a 5000 mAh battery and is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
