The ZTE Axon 60 Ultra flagship smartphone was introduced last month, and now ZTE has unveiled two new models in the Axon 60 series in Mexico – the Axon 60 and Axon 60 Lite. These devices, which maintain an affordable price point, share a similar design and some common specifications. Let’s delve into what the Axon 60 duo brings to the table.
ZTE Axon 60, Axon 60 Lite Specifications and Features
Both the ZTE Axon 60 and 60 Lite showcase an iPhone-inspired look, featuring a square camera module on the back housing three sensors. The phones boast a sleek, flat frame, with the power button highlighted in a vibrant red color that also serves as a fingerprint scanner.
The ZTE Axon 60 pair sports a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout reminiscent of Apple’s Dynamic Island found on iPhones. This feature, known as ZTE Live Island, showcases notifications, reminders, and more. While the Axon 60 offers a 6.72-inch FHD+ display, the Lite version comes with a 6.6-inch screen featuring HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Camera and Performance
Both ZTE Axon 60 models are equipped with a 50MP primary camera. The standard variant includes a 2MP macro sensor and an additional depth lens of unspecified specifications. On the other hand, the Axon 60 Lite features a 2MP depth camera along with an AI unit. For selfies, the standard and lite editions offer 32MP and 8MP front cameras, respectively.
Internally, the ZTE Axon 60 houses a Unisoc T616 processor, while the 60 Lite features a Unisoc T606 chipset. The former model packs 6GB of RAM, whereas the latter comes in a 4GB variant with support for virtual RAM. Both devices offer 256GB of internal storage and are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. They come pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system.

The ZTE Axon 60 and Axon 60 Lite are available in Gold, Purple, Black, and Blue color options. The Axon 60 starts at MXN 3,699 ($219), while the Axon 60 Lite is priced at MXN 2,999 ($177).
