Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Projector Lite in March this year, featuring 1080p resolution, a ToF sensor, and AI capabilities, all for 699 yuan (~US$97).
Now, the Redmi Projector Lite Green Edition is available in China for 799 Yuan (~US$110). This new model maintains the same exterior design and specifications as the one released in March, which was available in gray and white.
Brightness and Projection
The Redmi Projector Lite offers 150 CVIA lumens of brightness. It has a projection ratio of 1.2:1 and can project up to 100 inches. The projector meets the unified brightness standard of the China Electronic Imaging Industry Association and has an SGS certification for low blue light emissions.
Xiaomi states that the projector includes a sealed optical engine and a “super-transparent lens,” ensuring clear and vivid projections. The optical engine is also dustproof, and the product is expected to have a lifespan of 10 years.
ToF Sensor and AI Features
A ToF sensor is positioned below the lens, enabling automatic focusing and picture correction. The automatic picture correction can handle side/upward angles of ≤15°. Additionally, it supports side, oblique, or upward projection. AI algorithms are reportedly used to ensure accurate picture correction.
Connectivity and Warranty
For connectivity, the projector includes:
- 1 x 3.5mm headphone jack
- 1 x HDMI (ARC) port
- 1 x USB2.0 port
- 1 x DC IN power interface
The product also comes with an extended 3-year warranty.
