Jia Jingdong, Vivo's Vice President and General Manager for Brand and Product Strategy, announced on Weibo that Vivo has been acknowledged as an "Innovation Star" on the 2024 Kantar BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands List. This recognition highlights Vivo as the highest-ranked new entry. Kantar BrandZ is renowned for its global brand valuation rankings, which consider financial data and consumer opinions, including brand significance, uniqueness, and prominence. Jingdong's Weibo post also shared preliminary details about the Vivo X200 series.

Official Confirmation of Vivo X200 Series Details

According to Jingdong, the Vivo X200 series is set to be one of the standout flagship devices for the latter half of this year. Vivo has recently performed well in the premium 4,000-6,000 Yuan segment in China, especially due to many iPhone users transitioning to Vivo devices. To facilitate this switch, the X200 series will feature a flat-screen design similar to iPhones, helping users adjust more easily.

The Vivo X200 series will boast advanced technologies such as a custom sensor and imaging chip, a robust battery, and a high-performance chipset enhanced by Blue Crystal technology. Rumored specifications for the Vivo X200 include a 6.3-inch flat OLED display, a 22nm 50-megapixel main camera, the Vivo V3+ imaging chip, a 5,600mAh battery, and the Dimensity 9400 SoC.

New Operating System and Launch Timeline

Running on the latest Origin OS 5, likely based on Android 15, the Vivo X200 series will offer improved local AI processing, enhanced natural interaction features, and tailored service suggestions through intent recognition. Reports suggest that the Vivo X200 series will be unveiled in the third week of October, with the lineup anticipated to include the Vivo X200, X200+, and X200 Pro, all equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chip.
