Vivo X200 Pro Mini Launch Expected in India April 2025

Vivo is doing quite well in India, as a new report shows that it has overtaken Samsung and Xiaomi to become the leading smartphone brand in the country (by sales volume) for Q4 2024. The company has two flagship models available in the market, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. Furthermore, Abhishek Yadav mentioned that Vivo is set to launch another model in its “X” series this coming April.

Speculations About New Models

While the specific model hasn’t been revealed yet, there are rumors suggesting it could be the X200 Pro Mini. This device was first introduced in China alongside the X200 and X200 Pro but has yet to see a global release, including in India. Another contender could be the X200 Ultra, although its likelihood of being launched in India seems slim, as previous Ultra models in the X series have generally been exclusive to China. The potential X200S faces a similar fate. Given these patterns, the X200 Pro Mini is the most probable candidate for release in India.

Anticipated Certification and Specs

The device hasn’t shown up on the BIS certification database yet, but with the rumored launch in April nearing, its certification is expected to be listed soon. Regarding specifications, we anticipate that the rumored X200 Pro Mini for the Indian market will be quite similar to the Chinese variant, which we detail below.

Vivo X200 Pro Mini Specs (Chinese Variant)

The X200 Pro Mini features a compact 6.31-inch flat display, boasting an LTPO 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, which was developed in partnership with Vivo. The phone comes with a 5,700mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging, along with 30W wireless charging.

Its camera system is impressive, featuring a triple rear setup equipped with Zeiss optics and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, which is the same one found in the X100 Ultra. The primary camera utilizes a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-818 sensor paired with a custom f/1.57 lens. While it is smaller than the 1-inch sensor seen in the X100 Pro series, a standout feature is the 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera from the X100 Ultra, which provides 3.7x optical zoom with an f/2.67 lens. Completing the camera system are a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 32MP selfie camera that includes autofocus.
