Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo V50 in India later this month. The company has already shared various details about the phone through its microsites on the Vivo India website and Flipkart. It will be available in three colors: Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey. Before the official release, actual images of the blue version have surfaced, revealing its design closely.
Vivo V50 Design Insights
The blue version seen in the leaked images does not seem to show the expected shimmering effect, which could mean the glow might only be visible under certain lighting or angles, or perhaps it’s a different blue option meant for the international market. The images provide a good look at its features, including an elongated camera module that includes dual 50-megapixel cameras along with an Aura Light LED ring.
Specifications Revealed
The display appears flat but has a slight micro-curvature with narrow bezels all around. The “About Phone” section has disclosed some specifications, such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage. The phone will run on Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15.
Additional information indicates the V50 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery housed in a thin 7.39mm body. For selfies, it features a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus capabilities. Other notable features include an IP68-rated body, 90W fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Launch and Pricing
The Vivo V50 is expected to be launched on February 18 in India, with a price under Rs 40,000 (around $460).
