Realme has made a big announcement about the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition, which is set to be revealed later this month. Xu Qi, who is the Vice President and President of Realme in China, stated that this phone is made especially for young gamers. It will prioritize performance, battery longevity, and gaming features over camera functions.

Confirmation of the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition Name

The teaser poster confirms the name GT 7 Pro Racing Edition, but it does not give us any details about the phone itself. Reports suggest that this model is a modified version of the current GT 7 Pro. It will have similar specifications but will not include the periscope telephoto camera. Instead, it is thought to come with an optical fingerprint sensor rather than an ultrasonic one.

Competing with Other Models

The GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will be up against the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and the iQOO Neo10 Pro, all in the same price category. It’s expected to be the most budget-friendly Snapdragon 8 Elite device available. According to a trustworthy leaker known as Digital Chat Station, the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition is anticipated to launch next week in China.

Impressive Benchmark Scores

Recent AnTuTu benchmark results show that the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition scored 3,063,313, which is a small improvement over the GT 7 Pro’s score of 3,025,991. In contrast, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro achieved a score of 3,218,978, while the iQOO Neo10 Pro managed to get 3,204,156.

Specifications Overview

Moving on to its specifications, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will have a 6.78-inch micro-quad-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It may come equipped with as much as 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a substantial 6,500mAh battery that supports 120W charging.

For the camera setup, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual-camera system on the back composed of a 50-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. This phone will run on Android 15 and will have Realme UI 6 as its user interface.
