The Oppo Find N5 is set to launch soon! Chinese tech bloggers are predicting that the unveiling could take place on February 19, 20, or 21. This device aims to change the game for foldable phone design, boasting an impressively slim profile—less than 9.2mm when closed and about 4mm on one side when opened, which makes it the sleekest foldable yet.
Notable Features of Oppo Find N5
The Find N5 is notable for being the first foldable phone equipped with the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It’s expected to feature an 8-inch inner display with a 2K resolution and an almost invisible screen crease, along with a flat outer display for a smooth user experience. Additionally, it is rumored to have a 5,700mAh battery, capable of 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
This device promises remarkable durability, boasting an IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance rating, making it the most waterproof foldable phone available. In terms of cameras, the device includes a Hasselblad-branded triple-lens array, comprising a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto sensor.
New Color Edition and Software Details
Recently, the brand has confirmed that the Find N5 will also come in a new white edition. For added security, it will include a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The phone is set to operate on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. Following its launch in China, the Find N5 is anticipated to be available in several Southeast Asian markets. In regions like the US, Europe, and India, it may be launched under the name OnePlus Open 2.
