    Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Leaks and Rumors

    As the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series draws near, leaks and rumors about its features are becoming more frequent. Recently, the US versions of the Galaxy S24 Plus and the Galaxy S24 Ultra were spotted on Geekbench, providing some insight into their specifications.

    Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Processor

    Both the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra are seen running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at a clock speed of 3.3 GHz. This is in line with previous leaks, which also showed an overclocked core at 3.4 GHz on the Korean Galaxy S24 Ultra. Interestingly, an earlier benchmark revealed the Korean Galaxy S24 standard variant running on the Exynos 2400 processor.

    Performance on Geekbench

    Running on Android 14, both the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra seem to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at normal clock speeds. The processor structure includes 2x cores @2.27GHz, 2x Cores @2.96GHz, 3x Cores @3.15GHz, and 1x Core @3.30Ghz. The Galaxy S24 Plus comes with 8GB of RAM, while the Ultra model packs 12GB of RAM.

    In terms of performance, the Galaxy S24 Ultra scored 2117 points in the single-core test and 6720 on the multicore test. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Plus scored 1902 in the single-core test and 3439 in the multicore test.

    iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, has announced the global launch of the iQOO 12 in Thailand. This smartphone is touted as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone to hit the global market. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications, features, and price of the iQOO 12 5G for the Thailand market.

    Specifications

    The iQOO 12 5G features a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It boasts a maximum brightness of 3000 nits and a pixel density of 452 ppi. The device also comes with the company’s self-developed Q1 graphics chip, which enables higher resolution and smoother gaming experiences. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the smartphone offers LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

    Battery and Software

    Equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the iQOO 12 supports 120W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 with the FunTouch OS 14 skin on top. The Indian division of iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 12 will receive three major OS upgrades and four years of security updates, without any bloatware.
