  • Xiaomi Poco X7 Specs Leaked: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra Chipset

Xiaomi Poco X7 Specs Leaked: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra Chipset

It seems like the Poco X7 series might be coming soon. While Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced anything yet, images showing the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro surfaced from various sources earlier this month. Additionally, Paras Guglani has shared what he claims to be the official spec sheets for both models.

    Exciting New Features

On top of that, the same insider has also acquired new photos of Xiaomi’s Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro (curr. $324.99 on Amazon) successors, which we’ve included throughout this article. In summary, it looks like the Poco X7 mirrors the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, featuring a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and a ‘CrystalRes 1.5K’ AMOLED screen. It’s also likely to include the battery and charging features found in the Redmi Note 14 5G.

    Differences in Performance

In contrast, the Poco X7 Pro is set to use the Dimensity 8400 Ultra along with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. Interestingly, Xiaomi confirmed earlier today that the same chipset will be used in the Redmi Turbo 4, which we have discussed in a separate article. Because of this, we think the Poco X7 Pro could serve as the global variant of the Redmi Turbo 4. Unfortunately, the specific launch date still isn‘t clear at this point. For more details, please refer to the spec sheets below.

  • Poco X7 5G Specs Leaked: Processor, Display, Camera, Battery Details

Poco X7 5G Specs Leaked: Processor, Display, Camera, Battery Details

We’ve all been hearing the buzz about the Poco X7 5G that’s coming soon. Some design images appeared earlier, showing it might look a lot like the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Now, a fresh leak suggests that the specifications could be very similar too.

    Specs Leaked

According to tipster Paras Guglani, the leaked info about the global version of the Poco X7 5G indicates it could be almost identical to the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The Poco X7 5G is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, accompanied by as much as 12GB RAM and an impressive 512GB of storage. Additionally, Xiaomi’s virtual RAM tech will be included, allowing users to extend the RAM up to a total of 24GB.

    Display and Camera Features

On the front, the Poco X7 5G is set to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole cutout for a 20MP selfie camera. When you flip the device over, you’ll notice a 50MP main camera with OIS, likely paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens, similar to what’s on the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Although the leak doesn’t go into detail about these extra rear cameras, it’s reasonable to expect they’ll work in a similar way.

Added Camera Features and Battery Life

Poco appears to be adding several AI-driven camera features like AI Image Expansion, AI Film, and AI Erase Pro. These functionalities are becoming more standard in mid-range smartphones and can aid in improving photos or getting rid of unwanted elements in the picture. The phone will also pack a large 5110mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging. Rumors suggest that the Poco X7 5G will include TÜV Rheinland eye care certification, IP68 water and dust protection, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for display safety.

As we now know about the design and specifications, the final piece is for Poco to officially announce the launch date and pricing. We’ll keep you posted as soon as more news comes from Poco.

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Launches Globally as Note 13 Pro Upgrade

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Launches Globally as Note 13 Pro Upgrade

The Redmi Note 14 Pro has now been introduced alongside the Redmi Note 14 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G during an event in India today. It’s been rebranded as the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G due to an upcoming 4G version. This new model seems to match the key specifications of the one that Xiaomi has been selling in China since late September.

    New Features and Improvements

To put it simply, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G brings updated hardware that enhances the display and battery life. The new phone boasts a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, a significant improvement from the 1,800 nits of its predecessor. Additionally, Xiaomi has upgraded the battery from the 5,100 mAh found in the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G to a larger 5,500 mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery.

    Charging and Performance

However, it’s important to note that the new model supports 45 W wired charging, which is lower than the 67 W charging speed of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (currently priced at $289 on Amazon). This means that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G might require more time to fully charge compared to the previous model. Nevertheless, it includes some impressive upgrades, such as the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and a primary camera from Sony, the LYT-600.

    Camera and Pricing

Additionally, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is equipped with a new 20 MP front camera that utilizes an OmniVision OV20B sensor; you can refer to our original article for more technical information. Although Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the pricing for every market, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G will be available in India starting at INR 24,999 (approximately $295) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For those wanting more space, a model with 256 GB of storage can be purchased for an extra INR 2,000 (around $24), and customers can still pick from color options like Ivy Green, Phantom Purple, and Titan Black.

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G: Global Release with 12GB RAM

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G: Global Release with 12GB RAM

Xiaomi has just introduced the Redmi Note 14 series in China, but it looks like the situation might change soon and perhaps even sooner than what earlier rumors suggested. Currently, the Redmi Note 14 series includes the Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus.

    New Developments

Recently, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G was seen along with a 4G version on the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) public database. It’s important to mention that the FCC identifies the device with its model number, 24090RA29G, rather than its retail name. Still, this model number has been previously connected to the retail name Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.

    Expected Differences

There are rumors that the global version of the phone will have some differences compared to the Chinese model in a significant way. As mentioned before, Xiaomi is likely to use different camera hardware for the global version to align it with the current Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (priced at $276 on Amazon). While the exact timeline for the global release of the Redmi Note 14 5G phones is still unclear, it seems that they will first appear in India before being available in other regions.

The POCO X7 adheres to this approach. The smartphone will feature a Sony IMX 882 camera sensor, which mirrors the configuration of the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro.
