Xiaomi Poco X7 Specs Leaked: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra Chipset

It seems like the Poco X7 series might be coming soon. While Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced anything yet, images showing the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro surfaced from various sources earlier this month. Additionally, Paras Guglani has shared what he claims to be the official spec sheets for both models.

    Exciting New Features

On top of that, the same insider has also acquired new photos of Xiaomi’s Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro (curr. $324.99 on Amazon) successors, which we’ve included throughout this article. In summary, it looks like the Poco X7 mirrors the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, featuring a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and a ‘CrystalRes 1.5K’ AMOLED screen. It’s also likely to include the battery and charging features found in the Redmi Note 14 5G.

    Differences in Performance

In contrast, the Poco X7 Pro is set to use the Dimensity 8400 Ultra along with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. Interestingly, Xiaomi confirmed earlier today that the same chipset will be used in the Redmi Turbo 4, which we have discussed in a separate article. Because of this, we think the Poco X7 Pro could serve as the global variant of the Redmi Turbo 4. Unfortunately, the specific launch date still isn‘t clear at this point. Poco X7: New Render Images Show Camera Redesign and Colors

The Chinese Redmi Note 14 Pro is set to once again appear as a Poco mid-range device this year. Meanwhile, there is also a global version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro that has already been launched in various regions, including India. As is typical with Xiaomi, things can get a bit tricky, especially since there are multiple technical differences between the Chinese variant and the global models. Additionally, there are offshoots like the newly found Poco X7 Neo.

    Details on the Poco X7

Recently, the direct successor to the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro has been leaked by Indian insider Paras Guglani on his site. The leak includes three render images, which while not of very high quality, do display the three color choices and a camera redesign compared to the previous model. The Poco X7 will come in the classic Poco colors of black-yellow, green, and silver, and it will again have a basic model along with a Pro variant, showcasing its visual similarity to the Redmi series.

    Camera and Specifications

The Poco X6’s rectangular camera module has been altered into a slightly rounded square triple-camera setup with an LED flash. In terms of specifications, we anticipate a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 5,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a main camera with 50 MP based on the IMX882, alongside two smaller 8 MP and 2 MP cameras for ultra-wide and macro shots. It’s also likely that there will be a 20 MP front-facing camera. However, the specific differences between the basic and Pro models remain uncertain.

The Geekbench results show significant specifications and performance metrics for the smartphone. In the benchmark assessment, the POCO X7 achieved a score of 1029 in the single-core test and 2901 in the multi-core evaluation, which is quite similar to its predecessor, the POCO X6, that scored 1025 and 2951, respectively.

The listing further indicates that the POCO X7 will operate on Android 14 OS right out of the box and will come with 11.17GB (12GB) of RAM, with possibilities for additional RAM configurations at launch. While detailed information about the chipset is not yet available, previous reports suggest that the POCO X7 might have specifications akin to the Redmi Note 14 Pro. This implies the device could be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra, as suggested by its (4+4) core structure.

    Anticipated Camera and Display
