Additionally, Paras Guglani has shared what he claims to be the official spec sheets for both models.

    Exciting New Features

    On top of that, the same insider has also acquired new photos of Xiaomi’s Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro (curr. $324.99 on Amazon) successors, which we’ve included throughout this article. In summary, it looks like the Poco X7 mirrors the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, featuring a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and a ‘CrystalRes 1.5K’ AMOLED screen. It’s also likely to include the battery and charging features found in the Redmi Note 14 5G.

    Differences in Performance

    In contrast, the Poco X7 Pro is set to use the Dimensity 8400 Ultra along with a massive 6,000 mAh battery. Interestingly, Xiaomi confirmed earlier today that the same chipset will be used in the Redmi Turbo 4, which we have discussed in a separate article. Because of this, we think the Poco X7 Pro could serve as the global variant of the Redmi Turbo 4. Unfortunately, the specific launch date still isn‘t clear at this point.     We’ve all been hearing the buzz about the Poco X7 5G that’s coming soon. Some design images appeared earlier, showing it might look a lot like the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Now, a fresh leak suggests that the specifications could be very similar too.

    Specs Leaked

    According to tipster Paras Guglani, the leaked info about the global version of the Poco X7 5G indicates it could be almost identical to the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The Poco X7 5G is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, accompanied by as much as 12GB RAM and an impressive 512GB of storage. Additionally, Xiaomi’s virtual RAM tech will be included, allowing users to extend the RAM up to a total of 24GB.

    Display and Camera Features

    On the front, the Poco X7 5G is set to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch-hole cutout for a 20MP selfie camera. When you flip the device over, you’ll notice a 50MP main camera with OIS, likely paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens, similar to what’s on the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Although the leak doesn’t go into detail about these extra rear cameras, it’s reasonable to expect they’ll work in a similar way.

    Added Camera Features and Battery Life

    Poco appears to be adding several AI-driven camera features like AI Image Expansion, AI Film, and AI Erase Pro. These functionalities are becoming more standard in mid-range smartphones and can aid in improving photos or getting rid of unwanted elements in the picture. The phone will also pack a large 5110mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging. Rumors suggest that the Poco X7 5G will include TÜV Rheinland eye care certification, IP68 water and dust protection, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for display safety.

The new phone boasts a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, a significant improvement from the 1,800 nits of its predecessor. Additionally, Xiaomi has upgraded the battery from the 5,100 mAh found in the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G to a larger 5,500 mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery.
