Velondo’s got a sweet deal on this Haibike right now

Velondo is currently offering the Haibike Trekking 8 High for €1,999 (approximately US$2,291) plus shipping. You can refer to this page to check shipping fees for your country of residence. This marks a substantial reduction from its original MSRP of €4,299 (US$4,928), though list prices don’t always reflect real-world selling prices. It’s a pretty big reduction from what it used to cost new, so if your in the market its worth a look.

Feature packed for the trail and road

As the name suggests, the e-bike is designed for trekking and comes equipped with a comprehensive set of features, including a bike stand, an integrated rack, front and rear mudguards, a Lezyne headlight, and an Axa taillight. The Haibike Trekking 8 also combines an SR Suntour Mobie 25 LOR suspension fork (100 mm travel) with Schwalbe AI Grounder Performance tires. While these tires wont turn it into a true mountain bike, typical field and forest trails shouldnt pose much of a challenge. Your gonna be happy on gravel paths and fire roads for sure.

Motor power and battery life details

The Bosch Performance CX mid-drive motor delivers 85 Nm of torque, promising strong pedal assist even during acceleration and on challenging climbs. The motor is powered by a larger-then-average 750 Wh battery neatly integrated into the bike frame. For shifting, the Haibike Trekking 8 uses an 11-speed Shimano Cues drivetrain, which is a classic derailleur system. That battery should get you pretty far on a single charge depending on how much you use the assist levels.

Customers who purchase the new model before June 11th can get €200 off the €1,499 RRP, lowering the price to €1,299. This means your saving around 13% off the regular price, which is quite good for such a high-end cleaning gadget.

    Specifications and Power Features

Dreame’s new X60 Pro Ultra Complete is a relatively powerful model, said to offer up to 4,2000 Pa suction power. The robot is equipped with the HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0, and the ProLeap chassis allows it to climb over obstacles measuring up to 10 cm (~3.94 inches) tall in two 5 cm (~1.97 inches) steps. Plus, this is the first model from the brand to have dual-joint robotic arms: the SideReach arm with up to 12 cm (~4.72 inches) range and the rear MopExtend RoboSwing arm extending up to 18 cm (~7.09 inches). I think this is a big upgrade from previous versions because it can reach corners so much better.

To navigate your home, the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete uses a combination of cameras and 3D structured light technology. Another upgrade compared to older models is its ability to clean an area measuring up to 1,000 m² (~10,764 ft²) in size between charges. On top of this, the multifunctional docking station offers mop cleaning and dustbin emptying, as well as a five-minute fast charge feature. This docking station seems very convinient for people which have large homes and need quick recharge times.

    Availability in United States Market

It is unclear when the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete Robot Vacuum Cleaner could be released in the US. Here, the brand already sells other X60 series models like the X60 Max Ultra Complete (curr. $1,699.99 at Amazon). There is no official release date yet for the US, but many people are hoping it will arrive later this year or early next year. Keep checking their websites for any updates if your interested in buying one.

  • Leica Cine Compact 1 Shrinks Laser Projector Size & Price

Leica Cine Compact 1 Shrinks Laser Projector Size & Price

    Key Takeaway

    – 30% smaller, 2 kg lighter, and over 50% cheaper than the Cine Play 1
    – Maximum brightness of 1,700 lumens (vs. 3,000 in the Cine Play 1)
    – Triple RGB laser with 4K resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and full BT.2020 color space
    – 240 Hz gaming mode at 2K with 20 ms latency
    – Launching June 18, 2026 at €1,645 ($1,914)

    Brand New Projector From Leica

At first glance, the brand new Leica Cine Compact 1 looks almost identical to the older Cine Play 1, but the new model is 30 percent smaller, 2 kilograms lighter and over 50 percent cheaper. With a stand that allows the projector to be rotated 360 degrees and integrated 2 x 10 watt stereo speakers, the Cine Compact 1 is said to be ideal for use on the move, provided a suitable power source is available.

    Brightness and Screen Size

The 4.4 kilogram projector compromises on brightness, at least in comparison to the Cine Play 1, as the Cine Compact 1 achieves a maximum brightness of 1,700 lumens instead of 3,000 lumens. According to Leica, the image on a 100-inch screen is therefore just as bright as that of the Cine Play 1 on a 140-inch screen. With a zoom range of 1.0 to 1.3, the lens is not quite as flexible as the more expensive model, but at least it supports autofocus and automatic keystone correction. The projector supports screens from 60 inches to 220 inches.

    Technical Specs and Features

The Leica Cine Compact 1 uses a triple RGB laser as a light source and combines this with a pico-PMD panel that enables a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels at a frame rate of 60 Hz. In gaming mode, a frame rate of 240 Hz at 2K resolution should be possible; Leica specifies a latency of 20 milliseconds. The projector supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG HDR content and can fully display the BT.2020 color space. With Wi-Fi 6 and the VIDAA Smart TV user interface, content from Netflix and co. can be streamed directly.

    Pricing and Release Date

The Leica Cine Compact 1 will be launched on June 18, 2026 for a recommended retail price of €1,645 ($1,914). By comparison, the larger Cine Play 1 currently costs $2995. More details about the new laser projector can be found at Leica’s website.

    5. The global launch may coincide with Samsung’s release of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been officially announced and is now up for grabs in China. Launched in late December, this smartphone is the fourth device from Xiaomi featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, following the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and the Redmi K90 Pro Max.

    Global Availability

The staggered launch dates for these devices in China shouldn’t delay the global release of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. In fact, it seems that there is already a global variant that has been spotted. An image shared on X by Abhishek Yadav shows only the top part of the phone, but the model number 2512BPNDAG can be seen, which has previously been connected to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

    Similar Features

Naturally, the international version appears to be identical to the Chinese model, including the Leica-style branding. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to become available in the Eurozone with a price tag of €1,499 (approximately $1,769) featuring 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. • France Increases EV Incentives: Up to €5,200 for European Battery Cars

France Increases EV Incentives: Up to €5,200 for European Battery Cars

    Key Takeaways

    1. France will offer an additional €1,000 subsidy for electric vehicles (EVs) made in Europe with European-manufactured batteries, starting October 1, 2025.
    2. Current subsidies for EV purchases range from €2,000 to €4,200, depending on income and environmental scores, with plans to raise support to €5,200 with the new bonus.
    3. The initiative aims to increase EV accessibility, support European automotive and battery industries, reduce emissions, and decrease reliance on international supply chains.
    4. Few EVs currently have batteries produced in Europe, but France is building new factories and Germany and Hungary are expanding battery production.
    5. The government is reinstating its EV leasing program for low-income families, with a budget of €370 million to support at least 50,000 vehicles, starting applications on September 30, 2025.

France is set to provide an extra €1,000 subsidy for purchasers of electric vehicles (EVs) that are made in Europe and equipped with batteries manufactured within the continent, starting October 1, 2025. This is in addition to the current environmental bonus (Bonus Écologique), which assists families in buying EVs.

    Current Subsidy Details

At present, French consumers can obtain as much as €4,200 based on their income levels, as long as the vehicle achieves a certain environmental score related to the CO₂ emissions from its production and battery creation. Since the subsidy was launched in February 2024, the financial aid has varied from €2,000 to €4,000. The government raised this amount in July 2025 to a range of €3,100 to €4,200, likely to address the decline in EV sales. Nonetheless, there was a 4.3% drop in registrations from January to July 2025.

    Maximum Support Increase

With the introduction of this new bonus, the total possible support climbs to €5,200 for eligible vehicles. This initiative aims not only to make EVs more accessible but is also anticipated to bolster Europe’s automotive and battery sectors, lower emissions, and strategically lessen dependency on international supply chains.

Currently, however, there are only a limited number of EVs that feature batteries produced in Europe. France is working on establishing new factories, especially in the northern region, while Germany (VW in Salzgitter) and Hungary are also increasing their battery production capacities. A list of qualifying models will be regularly updated by ADEME, France’s Environment and Energy Management Agency.

    Reviving the Leasing Program

In addition to these bonuses, the government is also bringing back its EV leasing initiative for low-income families, which had been suspended since February 2024. Supported by a budget of €370 million, this program will aid at least 50,000 electric vehicles. The application process will commence on September 30, 2025.
