Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Launches with Fingerprint Recognition

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Safe 30cm in China. This product is termed "smart" due to its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, which allow users to get alarm notifications. Furthermore, you can check the safe's status and its unlocking history directly from your smartphone.

Additionally, there are five alternative ways to unlock the safe: through a password, a one-time password, two-step verification, Bluetooth, and a physical key. The battery-operated safe can last for up to 12 months, and it charges using USB-C. Constructed from steel plate, it has two locking bolts measuring 19mm in diameter, with internal dimensions of 396 x 248 x 295 mm (~15.6 x 9.8 x 11.6 inches) and external dimensions of 400 x 300 x 300 mm (~15.7 x 11.8 x 11.8 inches).
