Samsung is gearing up to introduce its latest smartphone, the Galaxy F55 5G, in the Indian market soon. Recently spotted on Geekbench, TheTechOutlook has revealed the pricing and specifications of this upcoming device.
Pricing and Configurations
According to reports, the Galaxy F55 5G will be available in three configurations in India: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB, priced at Rs.26,999, Rs.29,999, and Rs.32,999, respectively. Additionally, Samsung will offer bank discounts on specific cards, reducing the cost of each variant by Rs. 2000.
Design and Features
The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G boasts a Vegan Leather back panel that has undergone rigorous testing for durability against extreme temperatures, cosmetics exposure, solar radiation, and salt spray. It will be released in two colors: Raisin Black and Apricot Crush.
Specifications
The device will sport a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
Camera and Battery
On the rear, the Galaxy F55 5G will house a triple camera setup with 50MP main, 8MP, and 2MP sensors, while the front will feature a 50MP camera for high-quality selfies. It will come equipped with features like enhanced night photography and super HDR video. The device will be fueled by a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Security and Updates
For security, Samsung has integrated the Knox Vault and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy F55 5G is expected to receive four years of OS updates and five years of security updates. Although there is no official launch date announced by Samsung yet, teasers indicate that the unveiling is imminent.
