Nothing has finally rolled out the long-awaited Nothing OS 2.6 update for its Nothing Phone (2a), a mid-range smartphone. This update, marked by firmware version U2.6-240828-1906-IND, introduces a variety of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

- The Date Widget now automatically updates, a setting that can be enabled in Settings.
- Swipe down on incoming notifications to access the Pop-up view, facilitating easy information access without leaving an app. Activate this feature via Settings > System > Pop-up view.
- Added functionality to delete wallpaper history in Wallpaper Studio.
- Charging Assistant now includes notifications to inform users about charging status.
