Samsung is preparing to introduce the successor to the Galaxy A15 5G in the near future. This new device, anticipated to be named the Galaxy A16 5G, was recently listed on Geekbench under the model number SM-A166E, indicating it might be the global version.

Geekbench Listings

Earlier in the month, the US variant was also spotted on Geekbench, carrying the model number SM-A166P. Both the global and US models come with the Dimensity 6300 SoC. The device is shown with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 14. It’s expected that variants with 6GB and 8GB RAM will also be available. The phone scored 967 points in the single-core test and 1971 points in the multicore test on Geekbench 6.

Camera and Battery Specifications

The Galaxy A16 5G is rumored to include a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP secondary camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The front-facing camera will likely be a 13 MP sensor. While more details are not available yet, it is expected to house a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging capability.
