Infinix has introduced the Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G smartphones in Malaysia. A standout feature of the Zero 40 lineup is its compatibility with GoPro cameras. Users can connect the Zero 40 devices to a compatible GoPro, utilizing the phone as a viewfinder via Infinix's camera app, which includes a special "GoPro" mode. The phones also come preloaded with the GoPro Quik app, enabling users to adjust settings, preview, and edit content in real-time, making it easier to capture high-quality material. Below are the specifications, features, and pricing details of both models.

Specifications and Features of Infinix Zero 40 Series

Infinix Zero 40 5G

The Infinix Zero 40 series is equipped with a 6.74-inch curved-edge AMOLED display, offering FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Both models run on XOS 14.5-based Android 14 and are guaranteed to receive two Android version updates, along with three years of security patches.

The front camera of the Zero 40 series is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1. The rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 4G model can record up to 2K 30fps videos, while the 5G variant can capture up to 4K 60fps videos.

Infinix Zero 40 4G

The 4G version incorporates a MediaTek Helio G100 processor with 8 GB of RAM, whereas the 5G model is powered by the Dimensity 8200 SoC and 12 GB of RAM. Both versions offer storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB and are powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. Moreover, the 5G version includes 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.

Pricing and Availability

The Infinix Zero 40 4G, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at MYR 1,199, which is approximately $279. Meanwhile, the 5G variant with the same configuration is available for MYR 1,699, or around $395.

Color options for the Zero 40 4G include Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow, and Rock Black. The 5G model is available in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black. Both phones are slated for release on September 8 in Malaysia.
