    Casio had warned buyers it would be limited — one per customer, no exceptions. It turns out even that caveat was pretty generous. The GA-2100CC-3A, which is the newest special edition G-Shock collaboration with Coca-Cola in Casio’s lineup, celebrates the beverage giant’s 140th anniversary. Earlier today (May 15), the watch sold out almost immediately after going live on the UK Casio store at £160 (~$214).

    Specs

    The watch is built on the GA-2100 platform, but it’s better known as the CasiOak. That alone guarantees attention for any new collab drop on the platform, but the Coca-Cola partnership likely pushed demand well beyond the usual G-Shock buyers. The design is built around a translucent green resin case, and a strap inspired by Coca-Cola’s iconic glass bottle. There’s a textured brown dial with bubble-like patterns. Rose-gold hour markers and hands lend some contrast to the design as well. A neat little detail is the small red bottle at the 9 o’clock position, which doubles up as the day-of-week indicator. The caseback has an engraving of a bottle-cap. Lastly, the watch ships in exclusive themed packaging.

    Build & Design

    Under the hood it’s all standard G-Shock — 200-meter water resistance, Carbon Core Guard construction, shock resistance, world time across 31 time zones, and a three-year battery. In Japan, the watch launched via an online lottery on the Casio Japan site at ¥27,500 (roughly $172). Casio has adopted this precisely because of the demand these drops generate. The UK got a direct sale instead – and this was the result. The previous Coca-Cola G-Shock, the DW6900CC23-3, came out in 2023 and was limited to the US and Mexico with no UK release. Essentially, this is the UK debut of GA-2100CC-3A, and clearly a sought-after one for British collectors, many of whom had been locked out of the last collab entirely. No release plans for the US or European Union have been announced as of writing.

    With no official plans for a broader roll out, buyers in the UK were given a rare chance to get a Coca-Cola themed GA-2100CC-3A straight from the official store, and that kind of direct sale sparkles with urgency.     Alongside the new GBX-H5600 lineup, Casio has also launched two new additions to its premium MT-G line in Japan — the MTG-B4000B-1AJF and MTG-B4000BD-1AJF. Previously announced earlier this year, both are now available to purchase, with a new construction aproach that utilizes both carbon fiber and stainless steel with AI-assisted engineering.

    Construction & AI

    The centerpiece of both models is the carbon laminate frame — layers of carbon fiber sheet and fiberglass pressed into complex three-dimensional shapes that practically define the watch’s entire profile. You also get a stainless-steel bezel finished with a mix of hairline and mirror polishing, then treated with Black IP coating. The back cover is formed using MIM (Metal Injection Moulding) for precise, protective shaping. The case/bezel material on both variants is carbon fiber reinforced resin, paired with stainless steel.

    Casio also adds that the underlying Dual Core Guard structure was developed with the help of AI, making use of accumulated shock resistance data to optimize the design. Both watches carry Triple G Resist certification, covering shock, centrifugal gravity, and vibration resistance.

    Band Variants

    The two variants can be easily differntiated by their bands. The MTG-B4000B-1AJF uses a resin band with vivid red accents woven through the carbon frame and dial, while the MTG-B4000BD-1AJF steps up to a Layer Composite Band — alternating layers of stainless-steel and carbon fiber reinforced resin — with Black IP treatment on the band as well. The BD variant is heavier for this reason, coming in at 178 g vs 112 g for the B variant.

    Both share the same case dimensions of 56.6 × 45.3 × 14.4 mm, anti-reflective-coated sapphire glass, a screw-lock crown, and Neobrite luminous treatment.

    Tech & Features

    Both models feature MultiBand 6 radio wave reception covering Japan, North America, Europe, and China, alongside Bluetooth connectivity for automatic time syncing via the Casio Watches app. App pairing unlocks world time for around 300 cities, automatic time correction, Time & Place logging, watch status display, self-check, and phone finder. Standalone, the watches support 27 cities across 38 time zones plus UTC.

    Both run on Tough Solar, rated at approximately 5 months of operation from a full charge without solar generation, or up to 18 months in power-saving mode. Water resistance is rated at 20 BAR.

However, demand has already outpaced supply: the blue GBX-H5600-2JR is currently out of stock on Casio’s official online store, with only the black GBX-H5600-1JR still available to order.

    Availability in Japan

    Both variants feature a semi-transparent see-through bezel with a carbon fiber reinforced resin center case — the watch weighs just 47 g at 51.1 × 44.5 × 17.3 mm. It uses a high-resolution MIP (Memory In Pixel) LCD with wide viewing angles and a high-contrast full-dot display capable of rendering the tide graph wave imagery associated with the G-LIDE line.

    The G-Shock GMAP2100SR watches each have a translucent casing and a polarized vapor deposition on the mineral glass. The GMAP2100SR-1A has a black see-through casing with a matching strap and a green dial, while the GMAP2100SR-7A has a clear/white case and strap, and a pink face.

    Casio’s G-Shock GMS2110SR also features the polarized vapor deposition finish on the watch glass, giving it a green or a pink hue. The GMS2110SR-1A has a silver tone stainless steel casing bezel surrounding the pink dial, with a matte black resin strap. The GMS2110SR-7A also has the silver colored metal bezel, though with a green face and a white strap.

    Both the GMAP2100 and the GMS2110 offer support for 31 world time zones, and tools like a stopwatch, a timer and five daily alarms. They are also water resistant to 200 m. At the Casio online store in the US, you can now buy the G-Shock GMAP2100SR-1A and GMAP2100SR-7A watches for $135 each. The timepiece sports dark blue baton indexes and curved hands, with the face protected by sapphire glass. This model uses the brand’s 6R51 calibre, with a 72-hour power reserve and a mean daily rate of -15/+25 seconds. Other features include a silver tone stainless steel casing and a dark blue leather strap, and it is marketed as water resistant to 10 bar.

    Details

    The Seiko 145th Anniversary Limited Edition “Craftsmanship” Classic Series Arita Porcelain in Ruri blue, or model HCC007, has a dark blue handcrafted dial. The textured porcelain face is said to have the “deepest Arita glaze ever achieved by Seiko Presage”, and is the shade of lapis-lazuli. This model also has a silver colored steel casing with a curved lug and is accompanied by a blue leather strap. Like the HCC004, it uses the automatic 6R51 movement and has dual-curved sapphire glass. However, it is only splash resistant.

    Release timings and prices

    The Seiko Presage 145th Anniversary Limited Edition HCC004 watch will be released in June 2026, with 2,500 pieces available worldwide. In Europe, it will cost £900/€1,050. The Seiko Presage 145th Anniversary Limited Edition HCC007 watch will arrive a little later, in July 2026 in Europe and September 2026 in the US, with only 1,500 units on offer. It is expected to be priced at £1,600/€1,800 in Europe. The US pricing for these two timepieces has yet to be announced.

The optical sensors are said to measure heart rate and heart rate variability; how well they work is unknown until tested in real life. The manufacturer claims up to 30 days in ultra-power-saving mode, 12 days under typical use. Those looking for a proven model in the same price range may consider the Amazfit Active 2 as an alternative.

    All told, the GT5 packs many features into a budget smartwatch, but buyers should temper expectations. with offline maps and GNSS on board, it trades some polish for value. Cubot keeps the tips simple, but the real proof will come from your daily use.

The design is somewhat reminiscent of the Huawei Watch GT 6, as Honor also features a round display with a printed bezel, a metal body and a digital crown on the right-hand side.

    Design and visuals

    The most unique feature of the Honor Watch 6 Plus is the battery, which has a capacity of 1,000 mAh, making it significantly larger than most of its competitors. For comparison: the Apple Watch Ultra 3 costs $779 and has a 599 mAh battery, the larger 44 millimeter version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 uses a 445 mAh battery, and even the new Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra makes do with a 780 mAh battery.

    Battery life and features

    According to Honor, this giant battery enables the smartwatch to be used for 35 days before it has to be recharged. Apart from the battery, Honor advertises two features in particular. Firstly, a total of 120 sports modes, including “professional” tracking options. And secondly, a feature called “Heart Guard Plus”, which is designed to determine the risk of high blood pressure and heart attacks, although, as usual, such functions cannot replace medical examinations. Honor has not yet confirmed when or at what price the Honor Watch 6 Plus will be launched on the market. However, now that reservations have been opened in China, the launch is likely to take place in the next few days.

    Citizen has announced its new Light in Black collection watches. The range is part of the brand’s 50th anniversary celebrations, with each timepiece featuring a black and yellow gold colored design.

    Five of the Light in Black, or Light in the Dark, watches will be released globally in June 2026. These are the Citizen Attesa Satellite Wave GPS CC4078-51E, the Citizen Attesa AT8384-58E, the Citizen Promaster Dive BN0264-53E, the Citizen Classic Chronograph AT2576-68E and the Citizen L Bianca EW5636-55E. Two further models, the Citizen Exceed CB1147-61E and the Citizen xC Hikari Collection ES9495-59E, appear to be exclusive to the Japanese market.

    Each of these Citizen Light in Black watches is a limited edition, with between 500 and 6,700 units set for release. The black dials feature five textured segments, representing the five decades of the brand. The pattern has been applied using inkjet printing technology, with gold flecks that catch the light as you move your wrist. Plus, these timepieces are powered by Eco-Drive movements, which can be charged using any source of light.
