Vivo’s recently unveiled X300 series already comprises five distinct models, but new details point to a sixth addition now in development. Alongside the standard Vivo X300, X300 Ultra, X300 Pro, X300 FE, and X300s, specifications for a device named the Vivo X300E have surfaced, signalling a further expansion of the lineup.
A larger canvas and shared high-end core
According to information shared on Weibo by the prolific leaker Digital Chat Station, the X300E shares several key internals with the X300 FE while carving out its own identity through a larger display and a significantly bigger battery. The handset is said to feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it will draw power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, offered in configurations reaching up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage, mirroring the FE model’s memory and storage ceiling.
Camera system stays premium with Zeiss touch
The imaging setup is reported to be built around a 50 MP primary rear sensor, accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a second 50 MP sensor paired with a periscope lens for extended zoom capabilities. On the front, a 50 MP selfie camera is expected to be housed in the display. Following the pattern established by Vivo’s flagship tier, the X300E will also feature Zeiss imaging technology for color tuning and lens coating.
Battery life, charging, and build details
One of the more notable specifications is the rated battery capacity of 7,015 mAh, coupled with support for 90 W fast wired charging. While the leak does not explicitly confirm wireless charging, the feature is available across the rest of the X300 family, making its inclusion highly probable. Additional hardware details include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and what the source describes as a squircle-shaped rear camera island. The device is expected to weigh 203 grams and measure 7.99 millimeters in thickness.
Positioning and naming confusion resolved
This particular device was previously believed to belong to the upcoming X500 series and had been tentatively referred to as the Vivo X500E. With the new information confirming its place in the X300 range, that earlier assumption has been corrected.
There is currently no word on a launch date, though an initial debut in China remains the most likely scenario, with a potential international release to follow. Pricing is expected to undercut the standard Vivo X300, which currently retails for approximately €859 in some European markets.
