The TimeCapsule G3 is offered in two configurations. The Classic edition relies on a straightforward 2.8-inch segment display paired with a basic buzzer. It covers core desk-clock functions: time, alarms, temperature, humidity, and weather. The Neo model replaces the segment screen with a 320 x 240 pixel IPS panel and upgrades the audio hardware with a higher-quality speaker and an integrated microphone.

The Neo’s richer hardware unlocks music playback, Bluetooth speaker functionality, and access to a built-in AI assistant. While the assistant can handle general chatbot-style conversations, its standout feature is a focus on historical events.
