Lenovo has opened orders for AMD-powered configurations of the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7, roughly four months after the laptop was first unveiled at MWC 2026 in early March. The Gen 7 was originally announced with a choice of AMD Gorgon Point, Intel Panther Lake, and Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 processors. While Snapdragon X2 models are still unavailable, the new AMD units now join the Intel-based versions already on sale, succeeding the Gen 6 model in Lenovo’s lineup.

Early display limitations persist

For the moment, buyers cannot configure the notebook with the OLED panel detailed on Lenovo’s PSREF site, which would offer an 1800p resolution and a 120 Hz variable refresh rate. Instead, the current purchasing options are limited to IPS displays with 1200p resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Two of the available IPS panels are specified to reach a brightness of 500 nits.

Regional pricing and available configurations

Pricing varies across markets, starting at AUD 2,024 in Australia, CAD 3,359 in Canada, €2,429 in the Eurozone, HKD 12,403 in Hong Kong, MYR 6,074 in Malaysia, and SGD 2,684 in Singapore. In the United States, AMD-equipped versions of the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 start at $2,129, a figure that partly reflects a baseline memory configuration of 32 GB of RAM.

A notable premium over Intel models

The AMD-based models currently carry a significant price premium compared to their Intel Panther Lake counterparts, which are available starting at $1,739. That gap translates into a 22 percent surcharge for the AMD variants. Further configuration details are available through Lenovo’s regional websites.
