Bosgame has formally announced the E6 ECO, a compact desktop that brings Intel’s forthcoming Wildcat Lake platform into the sub-$400 category. At the heart of the system is the Core 3 304 processor, paired out of the box with 12GB of memory, Wi-Fi 7, and expandable storage, all positioned at a launch price of $379.99.
Processor and Everyday Performance
The Core 3 304 operates within a 15 W thermal envelope and combines a single performance core with a 1.5 GHz base frequency that can reach 4.3 GHz alongside four low-power efficiency cores capable of boosting to 3.3 GHz. While this chip is not designed to lead synthetic benchmark charts, its real-world output is expected to land close to that of an AMD Ryzen 3 210. That level of performance suits a typical home or office workload, including web browsing, document editing, media streaming, and similar day-to-day tasks.
AI Capability and Platform Support
The total platform delivers 24 TOPS of dedicated AI throughput, drawn from 15 TOPS on the CPU and an additional 9 TOPS on the integrated Intel Graphics. Though this figure remains below the 40 TOPS threshold Microsoft defines for Copilot+ PC branding, the E6 ECO can still manage lighter local AI features and select machine learning workloads without relying solely on the cloud.
Compact Design and Thermal Management
All of this hardware sits inside a chassis measuring 129 x 128 x 44 mm. Cooling is handled by a hydraulic-bearing fan working in tandem with copper heat pipes and a perforated top cover, a layout intended to keep noise and temperatures in check during sustained use.
Memory, Storage, and Connectivity
The E6 ECO ships with 12GB of soldered LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Storage expansion is available through an additional M.2 2242 slot that accepts PCIe 4.0 drives of up to 4TB. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, keeping the system aligned with current network and peripheral standards.
Display and Port Selection
Despite its restrained footprint, the mini PC can drive up to three 4K displays simultaneously. Detailed port configurations were not fully enumerated in the announcement, though multi-display support has become a priority across this segment.
Availability and Market Positioning
Bosgame plans to launch the E6 ECO globally on August 15, 2026, at $379.99. With Wildcat Lake arriving in a price-conscious mini PC, the system joins a growing field of compact desktops that aim to balance modern connectivity, low power draw, and enough performance for mainstream computing, a category where Intel’s latest efficiency-focused silicon will begin to compete more directly with entry-level offerings from AMD.
