The Vivo Y38 5G has been officially launched in Taiwan, with the phone now appearing on the official website. However, details regarding its pricing and availability have not been disclosed. In terms of both specifications and design, the Vivo Y38 5G closely resembles the recently unveiled Vivo Y200i 5G in China.

The Vivo Y38 5G boasts a 6.68-inch IPS LCD display offering an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 264ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. Audiophiles will appreciate the inclusion of dual stereo speakers.

Under the hood, the Y38 is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It provides 256 GB of internal storage using UFS 2.2, with a microSD card slot available for additional storage. The device comes preloaded with Android 14 layered with FunTouch OS 14.
