Vivo Y36t with Helio G85 Launched in China for $105

Vivo has introduced the Y36t smartphone, aimed at consumers who are looking for a budget-friendly option. The new device is now available on the Chinese e-commerce platform, Jingdong.

Vivo Y36t Specifications

The Y36t comes in two color variants: space black and sapphire green. It sports a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and supports a 60Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y36t is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. This includes a dual-core setup at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core configuration at 1.8GHz. The device is equipped with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC5.1 storage. There’s also a substantial 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.

The smartphone features a 13-megapixel main camera with 4x digital zoom capability and a 5-megapixel front camera that supports facial recognition for unlocking the device.

Additional Features

Other notable features of the Y36t include a 150% loud volume mode and IP54 certification for dust and water resistance. The device operates on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 system.

Pricing & Availability

As previously mentioned, the Vivo Y36t is available in China through Jingdong, with an initial discounted price of 749 yuan ($105). Once the discount period ends, the smartphone will be priced at 799 yuan ($112).
