  • Doogee S200 Max Leaks: Next-Gen Android Flagship Design Revealed

Doogee S200 Max Leaks: Next-Gen Android Flagship Design Revealed

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Doogee S200 Max will feature a new 1.3-inch square secondary display next to the rear cameras.
    2. The camera design of the S200 Max is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, but Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship may have a slimmer build and a metallic-effect back.
    3. The Doogee S200 Max boasts a remarkable 22,000mAh battery, significantly larger than the expected battery in the Xiaomi “16 Pro.”
    4. New features for the S200 Max include a “dual” flashlight for various light patterns and a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB of storage.
    5. The S200 Max is estimated to launch at $559.99 with 16GB of RAM, while the standard S200 is currently priced at $349.98 on Amazon.

The Doogee S200 Max is rumored to keep the secondary display from its earlier model, but it will have a different design. This new display will be a 1.3-inch square screen positioned next to the rear cameras.

    Camera Design Similarities

The camera bump on the S200 Max is said to resemble that of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, and potentially its upcoming successor, the “16 Pro,” based on recent leaks. Unlike the S200 Max, the next-gen flagship from Xiaomi is expected to have a less bulky build and might not feature the same rugged IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H ratings. Instead, it will sport a metallic-effect back, available in gray or pale gold.

    Battery Capacity Comparison

While the Xiaomi “16 Pro” (or “Pro Max”) may boast a larger battery, it is likely to fall short of the Doogee’s impressive 22,000mAh capacity, which utilizes cutting-edge silicon-carbon technology. The S200 Max is anticipated to retain most of the core features from the S200, including a 120Hz 6.72-inch LCD screen powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC.

    New Features and Storage Options

A potential highlight for the S200 Max is a “dual” flashlight located at the top edge, which can produce various light patterns, including an SOS signal when necessary. Additionally, it may come with a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB of storage, a feature that may not be included in the Xiaomi 16 series.

As for the release date of the new S200-series flagship, it remains uncertain. However, it is estimated to retail for $559.99 with 16GB of RAM at launch. In the meantime, the standard S200 has seen a price drop and is currently available on Amazon for $349.98.

    2. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, up to 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage to keep costs down.

    5. Initially available in China, with pricing for the base model at ¥2,599 ($355) and the top-end version at ¥3,799 ($520).

Realme has introduced a new flagship device aimed at directly rivaling the recently launched Honor GT Pro. The Realme GT7 starts at approximately $355, making it considerably more budget-friendly than both the Honor GT Pro and the earlier Realme GT7 Pro. The company managed to keep costs down by using a less expensive processor and camera setup. Instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Realme has chosen the similarly capable yet more economical MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, which is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and a massive 1 TB of flash storage.

    Display Features

The Realme GT7 boasts a BOE Q10 AMOLED screen that can achieve a full-screen brightness of 1,800 nits and an HDR peak brightness of 6,500 nits. This 6.8-inch panel operates at a 144 Hz refresh rate and has a screen resolution of 2,800 x 1,280 pixels. It also features a PWM frequency of 4,608 Hz, which helps reduce visible flicker at lower brightness settings. Additionally, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is cleverly embedded within the display for seamless access.

    Camera and Battery

At the top of the display, you’ll find a 16 MP punch-hole selfie camera, while the back houses a rectangular camera module featuring a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera equipped with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, alongside an 8 MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera with a 1/4-inch sensor. Realme’s latest offering is certainly catching attention with its competitive pricing and solid specifications, positioning it well within the current smartphone market.

  • Motorola Edge 60 Pro Review: Design, Specs, Camera, Battery & More

Motorola Edge 60 Pro Review: Design, Specs, Camera, Battery & More

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro features a sleek design with a 6.67-inch OLED display, curved edges, and a faux leather back, maintaining a premium look and feel.

    2. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, with memory options ranging from 8GB to 16GB of RAM and storage options from 128GB to 1TB.

    3. The device comes with a larger 6,000mAh battery but supports slightly reduced 90W wired charging, allowing for a full charge in under an hour.

    4. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a likely telephoto lens, with a 32MP front camera for selfies.

    5. The Edge 60 Pro will offer a near-stock Android experience with features like Moto Gestures and Peek Display, although pricing and a specific launch date are still pending.

Motorola is kicking off its yearly refresh of the Edge series with the recent launch of the Edge 60 Fusion. However, there are more devices on the horizon, as two additional models are anticipated to join the lineup: the Edge 60 and the premium Edge 60 Pro.

    Design Overview

As expected, the Edge 60 Pro is the flagship of the series. Thanks to a TENAA certification from China, we have a solid idea of what to expect. The design of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro does not stray far from its predecessors. It maintains a faux leather back and features a soft-edged square camera module.

The front showcases a 6.67-inch OLED display with curved edges, which has become a signature look for the Edge line. This screen offers a sharp 1.5K resolution and includes an under-display fingerprint scanner. It appears modern and luxurious with slim bezels and a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. The display flows seamlessly into the body, giving the device a sleek feel despite its measurements.

At a mere 7.25mm thick, the Edge 60 Pro is thinner than the typical Edge 60, which is 7.95mm. Even with a larger battery (more on that later), it tips the scales at a manageable 188 grams, just slightly heavier than the standard model. Interestingly, this Pro version includes an unfamiliar physical button not seen on earlier Motorola devices. Its purpose remains a mystery—could it be a camera shutter or a shortcut to AI features? It seems Motorola is trying something new this time.

    Performance Specs

Now, let’s discuss performance. The Edge 60 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, reaching clock speeds of up to 3.35GHz. Memory configurations will include options of 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and even 1TB.

While we don’t have official benchmark scores for the Edge 60 Pro yet, other devices with this chip, like the Oppo Reno 13 5G, score around 1,134,729 on AnTuTu, alongside Geekbench 6 scores of 1324 for single-core and 4073 for multi-core. Overall, you can anticipate smooth everyday use and casual gaming without much hassle. For more details on chip performance, refer to our comprehensive Reno 13 review.

    Battery and Camera Features

Motorola appears to be making significant strides with the battery in the Edge 60 Pro. It comes equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery, which is an increase of 1500mAh compared to its predecessor. However, while the battery life is improving, Motorola has slightly reduced charging speeds. Instead of the 125W fast charging available on the Edge 50 Pro, the Edge 60 Pro will support 90W wired charging. Nevertheless, this should still allow for a full charge in under an hour.

We can also expect wireless charging to be included, as last year’s model had this feature as well. The camera setup boasts a 50MP main sensor, complemented by a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a third lens which is yet to be confirmed but is likely to be a telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera on the front.

    Final Thoughts

Currently, the only missing details are the pricing and software specifics. Although Motorola has not announced a launch date, the TENAA certification typically indicates that a release is near, at least in China. A global or Indian launch may follow shortly after.

Regarding the software, Motorola has maintained a consistent approach by offering a near-stock Android experience with sensible customizations. Features like Moto Gestures, Peek Display, and selective personalization contribute to a user-friendly Android environment, and we expect the Edge 60 Pro to uphold this legacy.
