Vivo is anticipated to unveil the Vivo X200 series of smartphones in October this year. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station shared some details regarding the periscope telephoto camera of the rumored X200 Pro. In a new leak, DCS has seemingly revealed information about the primary camera of the X200 Pro.
Vivo X200 Pro Primary Camera Details (Rumored)
The leaker did not specify the device's name in the Weibo post shown above. However, comments on the post suggest that the device could be the Vivo X200 Pro.
According to the leak, the X200 Pro will come with a customized 22nm Sony sensor. Specifically, it will feature a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size and a noteworthy f/1.57 aperture.
For context, the Vivo X100 Pro, which launched in October 2024 in China, includes a one-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary camera. While the X200 Pro seems to have a smaller primary camera sensor, its high-quality sensor and aperture specifications suggest it will offer excellent low-light performance and depth of field control.
Additional Features and Specifications
Earlier reports indicate that the Vivo X200 Pro may also sport a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The series is expected to incorporate True-TCG HDR technology, Vivo's self-developed VCS 3.0, and the first generation of Vivo’s imaging chips. These innovations are likely to significantly improve night scene photography, backlit portrait shooting, and telephoto capabilities.
The Vivo X200 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with curvature on all four sides. It is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Internally, the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset.
