Vivo is gearing up to introduce its latest flagship phone, the Vivo X100 Ultra, in China this May. Recent reports indicate that the device has received approval from China's 3C authority, signaling its imminent launch. Concurrently, another device, purportedly the S19 Pro, has made an appearance in the 3C database. Let's delve into the specifics revealed by the certifications of these upcoming phones.
Vivo X100 Ultra Certification Details
The upcoming Vivo X100 Ultra, designated with model numbers V2366GA and V2366HA for the Chinese market, comprises two variants. The "GA" version is tailored for 5G connectivity, while the "HA" model is rumored to support satellite connectivity. The 3C approval has been granted to the 5G variant, hinting at the inclusion of 80W charging capabilities. It is anticipated that the satellite-enabled variant will also secure 3C certification shortly.
Reports suggest that the Vivo X100 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a sizable 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E7 2K 120Hz display. The rear camera setup is projected to feature a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a remarkable 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera supporting 4.3x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. Additionally, the phone is expected to support 50W wireless charging.
Vivo X100 Ultra Launch and Naming
The Vivo X100 Ultra is slated to debut alongside the Dimensity 9300+-powered Vivo X100s and X100s Pro in May in China. Interestingly, there are speculations that the device might be christened as the Vivo X100s Ultra instead of X100 Ultra.
Vivo S19 Series Certification
