Vivo has bolstered its T3 series lineup by introducing the T3 Ultra in India. This addition marks the fifth phone in the series, succeeding the T3, T3x, T3 Lite, and T3 Pro. Positioned in the upper mid-range category, the T3 Ultra competes with models like the OnePlus Nord 4 and Poco F6.
Vivo T3 Ultra Specifications
The device sports a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a seamless 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo claims the display can achieve a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and supports HDR10+ for enhanced content viewing.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, a chipset also featured in Vivo’s flagship V40 Pro. It is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, featuring additional “extended RAM” technology, and offers up to 256GB of storage.
Regarding photography, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Additional features include an Aura ring LED light and AI-driven functionalities like AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase. The front is equipped with a 50MP selfie camera.
The T3 Ultra is powered by a robust 5,500mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging. It operates on Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14. Vivo promises two years of platform updates and three years of security updates. The device also boasts an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water.
Price and Availability
The Vivo T3 Ultra will be available for purchase starting September 19th at 7 PM IST through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. Buyers can choose from two color options: Lunar Grey and Forest Green. The phone comes in three storage variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs 31,999, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for Rs 33,999, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage for Rs 35,999.
