Last week, news surfaced regarding the upcoming release of a new color variant for the Vivo S18. The company has now officially introduced this fresh hue named ‘Diamond Purple’. This latest variant will be launched on March 1, with pre-orders commencing today, on February 26.
New Color Variant: Diamond Purple
The Vivo S18 in Diamond Purple marks the fourth color option for this model, featuring a distinct leather back. Initially, the smartphone was presented in three colors, all sporting a glass back.
The leather back of the new variant showcases intricate three-dimensional diamond patterns. This unique design concept was initially introduced on the Vivo X Flip clamshell foldable smartphone in the past year.
Memory Variants and Pricing
Contrary to earlier suggestions, the teaser poster by Whylab hinted that the Diamond Purple version would only be available in the 16GB + 512GB memory configuration. However, all four memory variants can be obtained in this new color option, with pricing matching that of the original three colors.
For a limited time, the base version also enjoys a ¥200 discount. The pricing details for the Vivo S18 Diamond Purple are as follows:
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥2,299 ($320) [Limited Time – ¥2,099 ($290)]
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥2,599 (~$360)
- 12GB + 512GB – ¥2,799 (~$390)
