André Thierig, the plant manager, shared with DPA that the company is seeing “very good sales figures” which has led them to adjust their production plans upward for the third and fourth quarters.

The plant also began producing an upgraded version of the Model Y in September. To improve efficiency, Tesla has implemented measures such as autonomously parking completed vehicles in the logistics area. Additionally, the company is working on expanding the facility to increase its production capacity two-fold.
