It bears the model number SM-A366E/DS (as reported by MySmartPrice). The “DS” in the model number indicates that it will support dual SIM functionality. Sadly, this listing does not provide details about its specs, price, or design. However, it does confirm that the phone will be available in India shortly.

    Earlier this month, the global support page for the new Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 went live. Initially listed in France, it later appeared in other regions as well. A few months back, it was anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy A36 would likely come with a 50MP main camera on the back, similar to its earlier model. On the front, there is an expectation of a 12MP camera for selfies. The rear may also feature two additional sensors, which could potentially be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens.

    The model number for this smartphone is SM-A366U, and the final character hints that it is intended for the U.S. market.

    Performance Insights

    In addition, a device matching this model number has appeared on Geekbench, lending credence to the idea that the A36 5G is likely to feature the Adreno 710-equipped Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, rather than the Exynos 1580 expected for the A56 5G.

    It appears that the A36 5G will come with 6GB of RAM, while the A56 5G is expected to have at least 8GB.
