Xu Qi Chase, the vice president of realme and president of realme global marketing, recently shared exciting performance details about the realme GT Neo 6 on his official Weibo account. The latest smartphone is said to be capable of delivering sustained high performance while playing the graphics-intensive game, Honor of Kings, at 120 frames per second, without overheating.
Xu Qi Highlights Impressive Gaming Performance
Xu Qi emphasized that the gaming experience with the realme GT Neo 6 would be notably enhanced. He mentioned that the phone could smoothly run Honor of Kings at the highest picture quality settings without any issues. At the 120 frames per second setting, the average frame rate reportedly reaches 120.1, with the temperature peaking at 43.0℃, a reasonable level given the demanding output of 120 fps.
Improved Gaming Experience with 60 FPS
At the 60 frames per second setting, the phone recorded a slightly lower temperature of 42.5℃ after an hour of gameplay at the same picture quality. The average frame rate achieved was 59.85. Xu Qi also highlighted the enhanced light and shadow effects in the game, mentioning that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip supports real-time hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Enhanced Gaming Capabilities and Display
In a separate Weibo post, Xu Qi mentioned that the phone is capable of playing Genshin Impact at native 1.5K resolution. The realme GT Neo 6, equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, is set to launch on May 9. This chip features a Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.0GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and three power-efficient Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It also includes the Adreno 735 GPU for graphics processing. To ensure efficient cooling, the GT Neo 6 integrates a 10014mm² vapor cooling chamber.
Moreover, the phone will sport a vibrant 8T LTPO display with a brightness of up to 6000nits. Powering the system is a 5500 mAh battery that supports rapid 120W charging.
