The Moto G05 is a newly designed smartphone from Motorola, available in stylish "Pantone-curated" Plum Red or Forest Green vegan leather. It is priced at just €129 (approximately $132) on Amazon in Germany. This affordable device is set to make its debut in a new country in 2025.
Display and Features
The G05 boasts a large 6.67-inch display, which is claimed to be the brightest in its category, reaching up to 1,000 nits. It features Dolby Atmos sound and Gorilla Glass (3) for added durability, but it has a refresh rate of only 90Hz, with a resolution of 720p and LCD technology.
Camera and Battery Life
This smartphone comes equipped with a single rear camera, but Motorola is confident that its "Quad Pixel" technology will place it among the best in its price range. Additionally, the G05 promises a 2-day battery life, thanks to its 5,200mAh capacity, though it falls short of the more common 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh specifications found in other devices. The G05 runs on the 12 nanometer (nm) Helio G81 Extreme chipset.
Launch in India
Motorola has teamed up with Flipkart to launch the Moto G05 in India starting January 7, 2025.
