Huawei is in the process of developing its latest Nova 12 series, with the Nova 12S model recently making an appearance. The device is anticipated to be officially revealed in the near future. At Gizmochina, a detailed examination of the Nova 12S has unveiled striking similarities with its predecessor, the Nova 11. It has come to light that the Nova 12S is essentially a rebranded version of the Nova 11, sharing identical specifications. Let's delve into the specifics of Huawei's upcoming smartphone release.

    Features of Huawei Nova 12S

The Nova 12 series by Huawei is designed to offer a user-friendly experience, boasting an elegant design, a high-performance System on Chip (SOC), and an impressive camera setup. Despite facing various challenges, Huawei remains committed to advancing its smartphone technology. The company is actively developing the Nova 12S, which is anticipated to maintain key features from the Nova 11 generation.

    Huawei Nova 12S: Model Details

Identified by the model number "FOA-LX9," the Huawei Nova 12S shares its model number with the Nova 11. While this may raise questions, it suggests that the Nova 12S is likely to possess comparable specifications to its predecessor. Vivo Y18 spotted on Google Play Console with Helio G85 SoC – Potential Vivo Y03 rebrand

Vivo seems to be in the process of developing a fresh addition to its Y series range, possibly named the Vivo Y18. This particular model has recently made an appearance on the Google Play Console listing, unveiling some of its primary specifications. Let’s delve into the details.

    Potential Rebranded Model

It appears that the Vivo Y18 may potentially be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y03. Not long ago, the Chinese tech giant introduced the Vivo Y03 to the market. Prior to its official launch, the Y03 was identified on certification platforms like NBTC with the model number V2332. Now, the Vivo Y18 has emerged on the Google Play Console database with the model number V2333. This suggests that the Y18 could be a tweaked variant of the Y03 intended for diverse markets.

    Similar Specifications Expected

Should this speculation hold true, it is likely that the specifications of both Y series smartphones will bear a resemblance. In February 2024, the Vivo Y18 was also noted alongside the Y03 on the Bluetooth SIG certification, indicating support for the Bluetooth 5.0 standard. The Google Play Console listing provides a glimpse of the Y18’s front and back, showcasing a design akin to that of the Y03. Moreover, the Vivo Y18 was listed as equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

    Specifications and Features

This chipset is coupled with 6GB of RAM, and the device operates on the Android 14 OS straight out of the box. The variance in specifications lies mainly in the RAM capacity, as opposed to the Y03, which was launched with 4GB of RAM. Presently, this constitutes all the available information; however, further updates are anticipated.
