When Samsung launched the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 earlier this year, they came in three colors. Now, the company has introduced a new color for both models, branding it as Limited Editions. Additionally, the prices for these smartphones have been reduced, but this is only applicable in India.
New Color Options
The latest hue for the Galaxy A36 (check out our review) is named Awesome Lime, joining the existing colors Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White. This new color is exclusively available for the 8GB RAM variants with either 128GB or 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 256GB model can only be found in Black and Lavender.
Galaxy A56 Color Addition
For the Galaxy A56 (see our review), which was initially available in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Lightgray, a new limited edition color Awesome Pink has been added. This color is only offered in the top-tier version, which includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Price Reductions
As part of its Fab Grab Fest shopping event, Samsung has also reduced the prices of both smartphones. The Galaxy A36 5G now starts at ₹25,999 (~$293/€251), a significant drop from its original launch price of ₹32,999 (~$372/€319). In the US, the Galaxy A36 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $374.99 on Amazon.
Shoppers can also purchase the Galaxy A56 5G for ₹35,999 (~$406/€346), which is ₹6,000 (~$68/€58) less than its original price. The updated pricing will start at 3 PM (IST) on September 27.
