    3. The controller includes a mechanical D-Pad, customizable back buttons, Hall Effect thumbsticks, and a detachable magnetic faceplate for personalization.
    4. Compatible with both iOS and Android devices, it supports devices up to 215 mm/8.46 inches in length but lacks Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in battery.
    5. The GameSir G8 Plus MFi is available for purchase at $79.99 on Amazon and directly from GameSir.

GameSir has unveiled a new mobile controller tailored for iPhones and the iPad Mini. Known as the GameSir G8 Plus MFi, this telescopic controller is the first from GameSir to receive the Made for iPhone/iPad certification. GameSir claims that this certification guarantees “dependable performance, stable connectivity, and full compatibility across iOS devices.”

    Design and Connectivity

The controller comes in a single white option with gray thumbsticks, D-Pad, shoulder buttons, and triggers. It connects to compatible iPhones and iPads through a movable USB-C port, ensuring a low-latency connection. Additionally, it supports pass-through charging, allowing users to charge their device while playing.

    Features and Customization

The GameSir G8 Plus MFi includes a mechanical D-Pad, membrane ABXY buttons, Hall Effect thumbsticks, and Hall Effect analog triggers. Moreover, it has two customizable back buttons on the laser-engraved grips. Users can also enjoy a detachable magnetic faceplate, enabling them to adjust the thumbsticks and ABXY layout according to their liking.

    Compatibility and Limitations

Apart from USB-C, the GameSir G8 Plus MFi features an audio jack. The specifications also indicate that the controller is compatible with Android devices. However, supported devices must not exceed a maximum length of 215 mm/8.46 inches. This means it should work well with smaller Android tablets like the Xiaomi Pad Mini/Redmi K Pad.

In contrast to the regular GameSir G8 Plus (which is available on Amazon for $79.99) that comes with a battery and Bluetooth, the G8 Plus MFi controller does not include either of those features. It also lacks a gyroscope.

You can buy the GameSir G8 Plus MFi now on Amazon for $79.99. Additionally, it can be purchased directly from GameSir at the same price.

    3. It connects via Bluetooth, allowing compatibility with platforms like Nintendo Switch and Windows, but lacks support for the Switch 2.
    4. The M4 weighs about 55 grams without the stand, has a battery life of up to 13 hours, and features ABXY buttons, inline triggers, a large d-pad, and PSP-style analog sticks.
    5. The controller is currently available for $39 on Kickstarter (20% discount) until December 12, with plans for a regular price of $49.99 on the Abxylute website after the campaign.

Abxylute has launched the M4, a new snap-on mobile game controller compatible with both Android and iOS devices. This product is a more affordable option compared to the similar MCon model. The M4 can easily attach to iPhones using its built-in MagSafe stand, which also supports the Qi2 standard. For smartphones that lack the Qi2-compatible magnets, Abxylute provides adhesive adapters to ensure a good fit.

    Compatibility and Features

The controller part of the Abxylute M4 connects via Bluetooth, making it usable with other platforms like the Nintendo Switch and Windows. However, there’s no mention of support for the Switch 2 (currently priced at $449 on Amazon), which previously needed a firmware update for use with 8BitDo controllers.

    Weight and Design

Abxylute claims that the M4 weighs approximately 55 grams without its detachable magnetic stand, and it has a battery life of up to 13 hours on a single charge. The marketing materials showcase that the M4 includes ABXY buttons, inline triggers, a sizable d-pad, and PSP-style analog sticks. Additionally, Abxylute offers different colored buttons for the M4’s Black Translucent, Grey, and Orange versions.

    Pricing and Availability

You can currently support the Abxylute M4 on Kickstarter for just $39, which is a 20% discount. Keep in mind that the crowdfunding campaign will continue until December 12, with the first shipments expected in mid-December. After this period, Abxylute plans to sell the M4 on its website for $49.99.

  • Abxylute Launches Retro Super Nintendo Controller with 30% Off

Abxylute Launches Retro Super Nintendo Controller with 30% Off

    Key Takeaways

    1. Abxylute is taking pre-orders for the Retro Grey Edition of their mobile controller, inspired by 90s designs.
    2. The controller features a color scheme reminiscent of the classic PlayStation 1 and SNES controllers, with ABXY buttons arranged in Microsoft’s layout.
    3. Early Bird pre-order pricing is set at $62 until November 20, after which it will increase to $89 MSRP.
    4. Shipping for pre-orders is expected by mid-November, and customers will receive a random bonus accessory with their order.
    5. A giveaway offers a chance to win one of ten Retro Grey Edition controllers by posting about it on gaming subreddits and sending a link to Abxylute.

Abxylute has just begun taking pre-orders for a nostalgic version of its well-known mobile controller line, less than a day after announcing its upcoming launch. To summarize, we had the chance to try the original Axylute S9 over a year ago (curr. $62.90 on Amazon).

    Retro Design Elements

The Retro Grey Edition from Abxylute is primarily a design update that captures the vibes of the 90s with its mostly grey color scheme. This special edition seems to be inspired by the colors of the classic PlayStation 1 DualShock, as well as the SNES controller. For example, the ABXY buttons in yellow, green, blue, and red are a clear reference to the Japanese and PAL-region designs of Nintendo’s consoles from the early 90s.

    Button Layout and Pricing

However, it’s important to point out that Abxylute has arranged the ABXY buttons in Microsoft’s layout instead of Nintendo’s. Pre-orders for the S9 Retro SNES Grey Edition have started at an Early Bird price of $62. It’s essential to remember that Abxylute will keep this price until November 20, after which the Retro Grey Edition will jump to its $89 MSRP, unless there are any Black Friday promotions.

    Shipping and Giveaway Details

Additionally, the Early Bird pre-orders are expected to start shipping by the middle of November. As shown in the image below, those who pre-order will receive a random bonus accessory, which could be anything from colored faceplates to d-pads or joystick caps. Plus, there’s a chance to win one of ten free Retro SNES Grey Edition controllers. To participate in the giveaway, you need to post about the Retro Grey Edition on gaming subreddits along with an image, then send a link and a screenshot to [email protected]. For more information, check out Abxylute’s website and our previous experience with the original controller.

    5. Abxylute is also developing two additional controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2, named the N6 Switch Deck and the N9 Switch Grip.

Back in August, Abxylute hinted at a mobile controller that attaches to smartphones using magnets. Now, they’ve shared more details about this gaming accessory, which will be known as the Abxylute M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller.

    Launch Information

According to a message posted on their Discord channel, the Abxylute M4 Snap-On is set to launch soon on Kickstarter. There is already a page available, but the crowdfunding campaign has not yet started. Although a specific date hasn’t been provided, Abxylute has disclosed the initial pricing for the accessory.

    Pricing Details

When the campaign begins, early supporters can snag the Abxylute M4 Snap-On for just $39. This price is significantly lower than the MCON magnetic controller, which is currently available for pre-order at $149.99. However, the big difference in pricing may adjust once Abxylute announces the final retail costs for the M4 Snap-On controller.

    Design and Compatibility

Along with the pricing announcement, Abxylute released images of the M4 Snap-On in a vibrant Orange color, reminiscent of the classic Nintendo GameCube controller. This new hue joins the previously revealed Black Translucent and Gray options.

The Abxylute M4 Snap-On Mobile Controller attaches to smartphones through magnets. It will work with devices that already have built-in magnets, such as iPhones with MagSafe and the Pixel 10 series. It’s also expected to function with phones that have a magnetic case. Users can easily detach the controller and use it independently.

    Features

The controller connects via Bluetooth to smartphones and is compatible with emulators and cloud streaming services. It features ABXY buttons arranged in the Nintendo layout, hair triggers, and two thumbsticks. Abxylute claims that the M4 Snap-On includes a built-in batter that should support usage for around 12 to 13 hours.

In addition to the M4 Snap-On Controller, Abxylute is also developing two more controllers. These are the N6 Switch Deck and the N9 Switch Grip, both designed for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is available on Amazon for $499.
