The standard variant offers up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the pro model goes up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The phones feature a conduction cooling system for efficient heat dissipation. The new AeroActive Cooler accessory is smaller and lighter compared to its predecessor. Both phones are equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, the devices come with various AI features.

    In terms of camera capabilities, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro come with a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS. For selfies, there is a 32MP RGBW front camera.
