Samsung is introducing a special Doraemon Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Hong Kong to mark the “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS” exhibition. With only 800 units available, this limited-edition phone is sure to be a prized possession for fans of the beloved anime series.

The device showcases a light blue hue inspired by Doraemon and is pre-installed with an exclusive Doraemon theme. This theme offers distinctive boot animations, lock screens, home screens, and customized app icons.

Doraemon-Themed Accessories

The package includes more than just the phone. Buyers will receive a Doraemon-themed phone stand with a magnetic design that securely holds the device. Additionally, the bundle comes with a Doraemon-themed flipsuit case, ensuring the phone is stylishly protected.

Pricing & Availability

Pre-orders are now open, with the phone priced at HKD 10,698 (approximately US$1370) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model. Customers who pre-order will also receive a complimentary Doraemon tote bag. The Doraemon Galaxy Theme will be available for download until July 14, 2024, allowing even those who don’t purchase the bundle to enjoy the Doraemon experience.

Specifications

The device retains the same specifications as the standard Galaxy Z Flip 6. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.4-inch outer cover AMOLED screen with a 720 x 748 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual rail hinge, Armor Aluminum, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and IP48 dust and water resistance. The phone is equipped with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, OIS) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, with a 10MP selfie camera.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, it offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device also includes a vapor chamber for heat management, a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and runs on OneUI 6.1-based Android 14, with 7 years of software support.
