Although we are still awaiting official confirmation from Samsung, rumors indicate that the next Unpacked event may take place on January 22, 2025, where the Galaxy S25 series will be revealed. Nevertheless, some conflicting reports suggest that the Slim version could have its own launch later in the year.
Galaxy S25 Slim Details Emerge
The Galaxy S25 Slim is speculated to be under 7 mm thick, positioning it as one of the thinnest smartphones Samsung has ever made. In comparison, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be even thinner at around 5-6 mm. This emphasis on a sleek design might indicate a new trend in the smartphone industry, where companies aim to balance looks with performance.
Impressive Battery and Display
Even with its slim design, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to house a battery ranging from 4700mAh to 5000mAh. This is quite remarkable, particularly since Samsung's current Ultra model has a similar 5000mAh battery that offers excellent longevity. The Slim is also rumored to sport a 6.66-inch display, similar to that of the Galaxy S24+. Internally, it should be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, just like the other models in the series.
