The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is a freshly launched smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 SoC in India. Nevertheless, it seems the company thinks there aren’t enough phones with similar features and designs, so they are planning to introduce not one, but two new versions.
Expected Models
These new models are likely to be named the Galaxy M16 and F16 5G upon their debut. This assumption comes from the fact that Samsung has activated support pages on its website for the potential model numbers SM-M166P/DS and SM-E166P/DS for customers in India.
Differences Anticipated
It’s important to note that there could be some distinctions between the upcoming devices and the existing A16 5G, which is currently priced at INR 16,499 (around $191) on Amazon.in. For instance, the M16 5G has been seen on Geekbench featuring only 4GB of RAM, suggesting that it might be even more affordable when it launches.
Processor Speculations
Moreover, one or both of these new models could possibly use a different processor, maybe the Exynos 1330 instead.
