Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition with Lamborghini Design Launched

Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi K70 Ultra on July 19. Alongside this release, the company has announced a special limited edition model known as the Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition.

This edition draws design inspiration from the earlier K70 Pro Champion Edition. It features a Y-shaped emblem reminiscent of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 supercar, along with the SQUADRA CORSE racing shield logo. The device will be offered in a striking green and a vivid yellow.

Design and Focus

The Champion Edition is primarily focused on aesthetics, allowing fans to own a device that captures the essence of high-performance racing. Although Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the full specifications for this special edition, it is anticipated that the core hardware will be similar to the standard version. The limited edition might, however, include enhanced memory options.

Redmi K70 Ultra Specifications

The standard Redmi K70 Ultra will come equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and will support a 1.5K resolution OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The display also features 3840Hz PWM dimming, which Xiaomi claims offers top-notch eye protection in low-light settings. While the exact screen size remains unspecified, it is known that the display is co-developed with TCL.

Camera System

The camera setup includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor, likely paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Remarkably, the K70 Ultra is the first Redmi device to employ Xiaomi’s self-developed AISP imaging algorithm aimed at improving overall camera performance.

Connectivity and Chips

Another key feature of the Redmi K70 Ultra is Xiaomi’s Pengpai T1 signal enhancement chip. This chip is said to provide a 12% boost in WiFi performance, a 20% improvement in GPS performance, and a substantial 58% increase in 5G WiFi signal strength.

Additionally, the phone will include a Surge P2 chip for fast charging, a G1 chip for power management, and a D1 chip for independent display processing. All of these are proprietary SoCs developed by Xiaomi.

Furthermore, the device will house a 5500mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging for quick recharges. It also boasts an IP68 certification, ensuring resistance to dust and water.
