Back in April of this year, reports surfaced that Infinix was developing a flip phone named the Infinix Zero Flip. The IMEI database at that time identified the device with the model number X6962. It now seems that the launch is imminent, as the device has received FCC approval. This certification has unveiled key specifications and the design of the phone.
Infinix Zero Flip FCC Certified
The FCC certification for the Infinix Zero Flip reveals its design. The images from the FCC database show a large, square-shaped cover display and a vertically aligned dual-camera setup, accompanied by a pill-shaped LED flash. The overall design bears a striking resemblance to the rumored Phantom V2 Flip from Tecno, a sibling brand. However, it is unclear if the two devices will have similar internal components.
Specifications and Features
According to the FCC certification, the Zero Flip will come with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Although there is no information about the battery capacity, it is indicated that the device will include a 70W fast charger.
The certification also shows that the Zero Flip will support multiple 4G and 5G bands. Additionally, it reveals that the device will be available in a Titanium Black color. Besides the FCC, the device has also received approval from Europe’s EEC platform.
Expected Launch
With crucial certifications in place, it seems likely that the Zero Flip could be officially unveiled by the end of this month or in July. As of now, Infinix has not provided any official confirmation regarding the existence of this device.
