Nubia has officially announced the launch of the Red Magic 9s Pro set for July 3. Additionally, reservations for the upcoming phone are now open. Earlier today, the company unveiled detailed renders showing some design updates. Let’s delve into the details.
Red Magic 9s Pro Official Renders
The provided images reveal that the phone will be available in four color variations: Dark Knight, Day Warrior, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing. The official unveiling will occur at the Red Magic E-sports Universe New Product Launch Conference.
From the images, it's evident that two of the four versions feature a transparent finish around the motherboard and air vent. While the design retains the flat sides and sharp corners of its predecessor, several changes are noticeable. The camera modules have been moved to the side, and the flash module has been relocated from the top to the side of the camera module. Additionally, the Red Magic logo has been shifted from the center to the side. The fan now resembles a third camera, with the third sensor integrated within the flash module.
On the front, the phone has narrower bezels compared to the Red Magic 8s Pro.
Advanced Cooling System
Rumors suggest that the phone will feature a multi-layer precision heat dissipation ICE 13.5 magic cooling system. This system includes a 10,000-level ice-grade VC, innovative frost cooling gel, and an alloy shark fin high-speed centrifugal fan. This setup is expected to reduce the body temperature by up to 19.5℃ and the CPU core temperature by up to 25℃.
Performance and Specifications
The device will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Notably, the Cortex-X4 prime core of the SD 8 Gen 3 chipset will be overclocked to 3.4GHz, compared to the standard 3.3GHz. Additionally, the GPU clock is reportedly increased by 1GHz. The phone will also feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
AI Capabilities
The Red Magic 9s Pro may include a large language model for AI functionalities. It is anticipated that this model will offer a response time of 1 second for the first word, implying some text-based features. This could be similar to text generation and summarization features found in many high-end devices. However, detailed information about the AI features is not yet available.
