Realme GT 6 Pre-Orders Start in China, Possible July 11 Launch

The Realme GT 6 mobile phone is now available for pre-order on JD.com. The listing is somewhat unexpected because, although the brand has hinted at its launch in China, it has not confirmed the launch date or main specifications. The JD listing, however, has unveiled key details about the device’s display and chipset.

Realme GT 6 JD Listing Appears, Launch Imminent

According to the product page, the Realme GT 6 destined for China will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It will feature an OLED screen with a peak brightness of 6000 nits. Additionally, the device will include a new feature called the “Sky Communication System,” but Realme has yet to provide official details on it. The pre-order and purchase process stated in the JD listing suggests that the Realme GT 6 will be officially launched on July 11.

Design and Camera Specifications

In terms of design, the Realme GT 6 will sport a flat display on the front. Last week, the company released an official image of the phone, revealing that it will have a metal middle frame for enhanced durability. Above is an image that surfaced on Weibo, showcasing the phone’s rear design. The rectangular camera module features a ring LED flash, and it is speculated to come with a glass back.

According to reports, the Realme GT 6 will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, making up a triple camera unit. The smartphone is expected to come with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may also house a large battery around 6,000mAh and support 100W charging.
