Possible Launch of POCO X6 Neo in India Imminent as It Receives BIS Certification

Xiaomi Set to Launch POCO X6 Neo in India

Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a new smartphone model under its POCO brand in India. The device, rumored to be a part of the upcoming POCO X6 series, has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform. It is expected to be called the POCO X6 Neo.

BIS Certification

The POCO X6 Neo recently made an appearance on the BIS certification platform. The listing reveals that the smartphone carries the model number "2312FRAFDI." Interestingly, this model number is quite similar to that of the Redmi Note 13R Pro (2311FRAFDC), leading to speculation that the POCO X6 Neo could be a rebranded version of the Redmi device.

Previous Sightings

Prior to its BIS certification, the POCO X6 Neo and the Redmi Note 13 5G were also spotted in the MIUI code. This suggests that both smartphones will likely be launched in the Indian market soon. The Redmi Note 13R Pro was recently announced in China, giving us a glimpse of its key specifications.

Key Specifications

The Redmi Note 13R Pro features a tall 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display on the front, with a 108-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It runs on the Android 13 operating system and includes features such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Given the similarities between the POCO X6 Neo and the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it is likely that the former will also offer similar specifications.

Stay tuned for more updates on the POCO X6 Neo as Xiaomi gears up for its official launch in India.
