OnePlus is rolling out regular software updates for its smartphones, including the OnePlus Nord N200 and OnePlus 9RT, alongside the OxygenOS 14 update. These updates bring the latest security patch and other fixes, but they are currently limited to specific regions.
OnePlus Nord N200 5G
The OnePlus Nord N200 in the North American region is receiving firmware DE2117_11.C.28 with the December 2023 Android Security Patch. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9RT India Variant is receiving firmware MT2111_13.1.0.594(EX01) with the new security patch. Both smartphones have a similar official changelog, which includes the integration of the December 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security.
Rolling Out in Phased Manner
The updates for both the OnePlus Nord N200 and OnePlus 9RT are being rolled out in a phased manner. It may take some time for the updates to reach all units in their respective regions. However, users can manually check for updates by going to Settings > About > Software Update > Check for Updates.
In India, users can submit bug reports using Google Dialer, while in North America, bug reports can only be submitted via the OnePlus Community.
OxygenOS 14 Update
The OnePlus 9RT will soon receive the OxygenOS 14 stable update. The device has already received the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta update. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord N200 will not receive the OxygenOS 14 update, as it was launched in 2021 and is only eligible for three years of maintenance updates.
Stable Android 14 Update
OnePlus is also bringing the stable Android 14 update to compatible smartphones and tablet devices. Recently, the OnePlus Pad received the update. The update has already been released for devices such as the OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 11 Series, and others.
These software updates from OnePlus aim to provide users with improved security and bug fixes, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.
