OnePlus has introduced a fresh color variant for the 12R in India. Previously available in Cool Blue and Iron Gray, the OnePlus 12R now comes in a gleaming Sunset Dune edition in the region.

The Sunset Edition is offered in a single 8GB + 256GB configuration. It is priced at 42,999 INR (approximately 515 US Dollars), with its debut sale scheduled for July 20, 2024, during the Amazon Prime Day Sale. There is a special launch promotion that includes an instant 3,000 INR discount for ICICI and OneCard Credit cardholders and EMI transactions. Additionally, buyers will receive a complimentary pair of OnePlus Buds 3 with the new OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune.
OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune Edition Specs
The OnePlus 12R is powered by a substantial 5,500mAh battery, which supports 100W wired fast charging. The device can charge from 1 to 100 percent in just 26 minutes. Other significant features include stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, an Aluminum frame, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and Android 14 OS based Oxygen OS 14 custom skin out of the box. The device boasts up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Apart from the new color, which combines soft gold and light pink, the Sunset Dune edition shares the same specifications as the other variants. This includes a tall 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR10+ support. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. For photography, it features a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
